Information to potential applicants for the 2020 Tour
November 15, 12-5pm
Due to concerns about Covid-19, the Durham County Pottery Tour has decided to plan for an online Tour in 2020. In November, if circumstances permit, participating potters may choose to also host in-person studio visits. Our new application deadline will be posted later this summer.
The Durham County Pottery Tour began in 2013 as a grass roots effort to showcase the potters in Durham County and also to educate the public about pottery.
To be considered for participation you must be a resident of Durham County and have your studio in Durham County. We are planning for an online Tour in 2020, although in non-pandemic years, we would expect your studio would be open both days of the Pottery Tour so that people can tour your studio, ask questions about the process and to see how you have set up your workspace.
Applicants will need to submit an application form, five photographs (four showing representative work and one showing the studio), and an application fee. Please contact to receive application materials.
